Our warm and welcoming bar area is the ideal place to sit back and relax. Full of character and fireside chairs, you can enjoy a cup of Old House 1147 coffee or drinks from our range of Welsh wines, beers and spirits. Visitors looking for a more informal dining experience can enjoy our menu in the bar. Dogs with well behaved owners are welcome in our bar area.
Y Gadlys
With breathtaking views of Nant Y Gadlys valley, our restaurant offers an unique open plan dining experience complimented by an outdoor terrace overlooking the vast Old House grounds. Our courtyard area lends itself to casual al fresco dining or drinks in the warm summer sunset.
The Cwtch
Dating back to the twelfth century and characterised by a thatch roof, original flagstone floors and wooden beams, The Cwtch offers a dining experience where visitors can enjoy the cosy ambience of this beautifully restored historic building. With mismatched vintage furniture and an open fire, The Cwtch is the perfect setting for an intimate lunch or dinner.
